Middle Grade Author Roundup

FEBRUARY 2021 UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who has participated in these webinars over the last few months! I am postponing any future webinars at this time. Please check back for dates this fall. Thank you!

Lindsay is hosting bestselling and award-winning middle grade authors for a monthly webinar designed especially for students grades 4 – 8!

Teachers, librarians, and school administrators are invited to register for these affordable, virtual webinars. Each webinar will boast five middle grade authors, who will discuss topics such as Finding Ideas, Revision, Resisting Distraction, Dealing with Rejection, and more. Students will be able to ask questions through the chat function, and will get to participate in a variety of activities along with the authors.

The cost of registration is good for one class, grade level or school! We are offering these webinars at a very affordable rate in order to help as many students as possible have access to these conversations. We’d especially love to reach Title I schools. If you are part of a Title I school and unable to afford the cost of registration, please reach out to AuthorVisits@LindsayLackey.com.

Everyone who registers for these webinars will have access to the recorded webinar through the end of May 2021, so if you are unable to view the live broadcast, you and your students can still view them at a time that is more convenient for you. However, you must register BEFORE the date of the live webinar in order to have access to that month’s recording. Registration for each webinar opens one month before the webinar date. Space is limited!

In addition to striving to keep these webinars affordable, the authors are also generously donating the profits each month to organizations that support literacy.

October’s profits will be donated to First Book.

November’s profits will be donated to Bookstormers.

January’s profits will be donated to Book Give.

February’s profits will be donated to Girls Write Now.
